If I bought it, did I make the decision that I got enough fulfillment?

On pg. 117 of Your Money Or Your Life it says: "If an experience or a purchase is truly fulfilling, the desire disappears for a long time. You are satisfied, contented, at peace." While this might not always occur (example: contributions to organizations), it's a good thing to watch for. (Penny Yunuba)

If I made a purchase, is it in alignment with who I am?

It may be a reflection of the level of your awareness at that moment, but is it what you want to stand for in your life? (Penny Yunuba)

What does an up arrow or plus sign mean in the alignment column? (That I want to spend more in that place? Maybe I am happy about it but do not want to spend more!)

So, use two marks or whatever you want! ( Example: Use "+" to show that you feel it is in alignment and "++" if you want to increase it!) (Penny Yunuba)

How do we ask the questions when we're a couple sharing money?

Coming up with the amount spent as a couple for each category for the month can be done together. Each person should have a copy, rating their own and joint expenses and asking the questions on their own. Then they can compare. (Reasoning: it is important to encourage each person to create and live by their own values, as well as to work them through as a couple. Many times one person is more outspoken than the other, and this method is an attempt to equalize that.)
